Limited Capacity seats available

If we want motivated students, we must have motivated teachers! This webinar provides opportunities for participants to explore how to enhance motivation in the classroom. We will first address how to enhance our own motivation as teachers and then explore ways to enhance the motivation of our students. We will anchor the discussions on Dörnyei’s (2001) framework of motivational teaching practice. The framework includes four essential components: (1) creating the basic motivational conditions, (2) generating initial motivation, (3) maintaining and protecting motivation, and (4) encouraging positive retrospective self-evaluation. These four components guide teachers in transforming the language classroom into a powerful learning environment.
