This lecture-workshop integrates theory and practice to show teachers the difference between basic concepts related to the teaching of phonemic awareness as a key aspect to begin the development of the reading skill. It also includes appealing, fun, and quick activities teachers can use in the classroom to develop such skill. This workshop is mostly suitable for elementary school teachers who want to develop phonemic awareness classes in a fun and practical way.
