[2-hr Workshop] Scaffolding and Fair Test Items in Content-Based Instruction (CBI and CLIL) LIMITED

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

In this two-hour workshop, participants will explore various sources of task difficulty in content-based instruction or CLIL classes. Participants will formulate separate language learning objectives for language and for content and generate and share ideas for appropriate scaffolding. We will then extend these concepts to test items. We will adapt test items so that they are challenging in the ways we want them to be (in connection with the learning objectives) and are not also difficult in ways that are unrelated to the learning objectives.
